Join us for an engaging weekend designed for 6th or 7th grade teens who want to enhance their etiquette and social confidence. This is great for students that have completed our Beginner Sixth grade program, but it is certainly welcome to any new students as well. Our immersive program focuses on essential skills that will empower you student to shine in any social situation! We know that all students need are the guidance and a fun place to practice!

Join us for our Fall season of cotillion events designed for Seventh grade teens who want to enhance their etiquette and social confidence. This is great for students that have completed our Beginner Sixth grade program, and also appropriate for brand new students to join in the fun as well. Our immersive program focuses on essential skills that will empower students to shine in any situation!
What’s In Store for the Fall 2025 Cotillion Season? ✨ Cell Phone Etiquette: Learn the dos and don’ts of using your phone in social settings. Understand the importance of being present and respectful while engaging with friends and family. ✨ The Value of Friendships: Discover how to cultivate and maintain meaningful relationships. We’ll discuss the importance of kindness, empathy, and communication in building strong connections. ✨ Mastering the Art of Introductions: Master the art of holding engaging conversations as you connect one friend to another through thoughtful introductions making others feel valued and appreciated. We’ll practice how to listen actively, ask thoughtful questions, and share your own experiences to foster deeper connections as a way to build strong friendships. ✨ Being a Good Sport: Understand the importance of sportsmanship in all aspects of life, on or off the court. We’ll cover how to handle winning and losing gracefully, both in games and social situations. ✨ Museum Etiquette: Explore the key manners for visiting museums and cultural sites. Learn how to appreciate art and history respectfully, ensuring a positive experience for everyone. ✨ Everyday Manners: Brush up on essential everyday manners for various settings. Whether you’re out with friends, at school, or in public, you’ll learn how to navigate social interactions with ease. Being aware of others around us and how we can easily help them or make their day easier is the goal! ✨ Dining Etiquette – 4-Course Dinner: Join us for a delightful 4-course dinner where you’ll practice your table manners. We’ll cover proper place settings, silverware usage including how to cut food properly, napkin etiquette, American and Continental styles of dining, resting position for utensils, and much more, ensuring you feel confident at any meal. ✨ Etiquette and Dance Combined Events: While we are learning all about new etiquette topics and how to apply those to students everyday lives, we break the ice with ballroom and line dances as a way to practice our communication skills as we meet and greet new dance partners all during the evening. Get ready to dance! We will build on popular styles like the Foxtrot and Cha Cha Cha, to learn some more advanced dances such as the Rumba, and Jitterbug. Our always popular line dances are fun and where students can bring out their best moves. Our cotillion events will help you move gracefully and connect with friends on the dance floor, as well as handle dining like a pro at your next event or family gathering.
Who Can Join? This Intermediate Seventh Grade Fall program is perfect for students who are ready to expand their knowledge of etiquette and social skills. The BRJC Fall 2025 Seventh Grade Cotillion Schedule Our Seventh Grade Cotillion meets on four Saturday evenings from 7:00pm - 8:15 pm at the Bentonville Community Center (BCC).
Students will also attend a 4-course guided etiquette dinner on a Sunday evening at a local restaurant in October, please see below.
Seventh Grade Event Schedule: (FALL 2025) Saturday, September 6th – Opening Dance (Semi-formal attire) at BCC Saturday, September 20th – Swing Into Fall (Dressy Casual attire) at BCC Saturday, October 4th – Favorite Theme Park Fun! (Costume/Casual attire) at BCC Saturday, October 11th – Dancing with the Stars! (Semi-formal attire) at BCC
Guided Etiquette Dinner (4:30 pm - 7:00 pm at a local restaurant): Students will attend one dinner event. Please reserve this date on your calendar for now.
Sunday, October 5th – 7th grade Etiquette Dinner (Semi-formal attire)
Seventh Grade Registration and Tuition Tuition: $220 per student Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $110 ($115 with PayPal fees) along with an application is due at the time of student registration. The deposit counts towards the total tuition. Remaining Tuition Due: The remaining tuition balance is due by August 5, 2025. The director will send a PayPal invoice in July to participants for the remaining balance due. Registrations on August 5th or later are considered late registrations. All late registrations require the full tuition payment and application at that time.
Invitations will be sent via email to pre-registered participants on May 1st. If spaces are still available, invitations will continue through September. In the event of uneven participant ratios, a waitlist may be created. Thank you for your understanding!

Refund Policy:Deposits are always non-refundable. No refunds will be issued after the final tuition deadline (August 5, 2025). Please note that your student’s registration and payment are for the Fall 2025 cotillion season and are non-transferable to future events. We plan our venues, staffing, and dining well in advance, so check your calendars carefully. Thank you.

Attire for the cotillion events will vary for the grades, depending on the Cotillion Group Level. Please note that students are expected to carefully follow the dress code for each event.
ATTIRE FOR BOYS
Semi-formal: suit or sport coat/slacks, any color buttoned-down shirt, tie/bow tie, loafers or oxford shoes. No tennis shoes.
Dressy Casual: Slacks and collared button-down shirt. Tie or bow-tie optional. No jeans or tennis shoes.
Casual: Nice jeans or slacks, no tie, tennis shoes are fine for casual/costume nights only
Costume: Nice jeans, no ties, tennis shoes are fine for casual/costume nights only
ATTIRE FOR GIRLS
Semi-formal: short dressy dresses, shoes with a full back or strap around heel, no strapless dresses allowed. No tennis shoes.
Dressy Casual: Dress or dress pants or skirt with blouse or sweater. No jeans or leggings. No tennis shoes.
Casual: Nice jeans, slacks or skirts, , tennis shoes are fine for casual/costume nights only
